May 2008 Workshop
On Wednesday 14th May 2008, SKILL! launched in the City of London with a day-long workshop for 110 students from across the capital.
Our speakers for this first event included Simon Woodroffe OBE, the founder of Yo! Sushi and former panellist on BBC2 Dragons’ Den; Oli Barrett, a serial entrepreneur and founder of Make Your Mark With a Tenner; and David McQueen, presenter of Channel 4’s “Vocation Vocation Vocation” and a music entrepreneur.
All participating students engaged in sessions focussing on enterprise skills, networking and communication of ideas.
